Art show is a animation I made of my first 3D final project ever. It was in Tom Otengers class at CCCCD. In 2002 the first 3D class you would have to take was in Cinema 4D only. I took that class again the next summer just for fun and they had switched to part Cinema 4D and part Maya. Now I believe it is only Maya as well it should be. Maya is the industry standard. I always tell people: "You know the first Jurasik Park? That was Maya." Still my knowledge of Cinema 4D is a real asset because it is so cheap . Maya is very, very expensive to buy. The only way to sell animations like mine is to own the program. You can not own Maya unless you have a million or 2. Cinema 4D can be purchased for about a thousand. If you wanted to employ me to make a DVD or a telivision show it is possable with Cinema 4D. Why am I going on and on? I don't know if you have ever noticed but the room featured in this animation is a monster to say the least. Using just the stuff in this room I could create a movie. Believe it or not just me. I alone with out a staff of people like most 3d productions that have 20 people working on a short 3d animation, I could do it by myself. There is aother room I made like this before I went over to Maya for most of my stuff. The name of this art and this room comes from the Album: Carne Evil by: ELP. Please note that in this animation is raw footage of the 3d work directly from the Cinema 4D program, 3D users will apreciate this most.
